Jon's birthday was fun this year because Nixon was able to help me shop and wrap presents! He was so excited!! Jon got just what he wanted.... a new softball bag!
Nixon went and wrapped some things up that were in his toys, it was so cute. He wanted to give all his toys to Jon, well at least wrap them up for him to open. When Jon pulled it out of the bag Nixon would say what it was before he opened the present!
Nixon loves to play with blocks but he found my airplane pillow the other day and now it is his wings. He puts it around his waist and runs around the house, it is so funny!

Nana came up to visit before Easter and we decorated eggs together. Nixon was a kick to dye eggs with.
Jon was very busy teaching Nixon the tricks of making eggs different colors!
Nixon was not as patient as Jon but loved all the colors and mess he could make.

Nixon wanted to have an Easter egg hunt in our back yard, so he went out and we hid eggs (filled with candy I had on hand of course). He was so cute to "help" Sadie find her eggs. I think we did the hunt twice!
Easter morning it is tradition that I hid the baskets and make the kids find them!!
Jon took forever this year, I was very very sneaky!!
