Nixon's Turns 3!!!

Nana came up to celebrate her birthday with us, we had such a great time. I made her wear a crown everywhere we went and we took her to Riverfront Park for the day. Tim, Casey, Chloe and Mac came too and we just had a big party. I know my mom really enjoyed it!! She deserved a nice birthday where she got to be spoiled all day!!

We had dinner outside, Cafe Rio Burrito's and homemade cake and ice cream. It was wonderful!!

Nixon's birthday was so fun, he actually gets it. I think next year though I won't tell him the night before, he had a hard time going to bed.

Jon and Cam put together a trampoline the night before Nixon's birthday, wow it was a lot harder than we thought. It took a long time in the dark. Nixon even got out of bed and didn't see them working in the backyard. It was fun to watch him not notice it until finally he saw it!!!!

 

August 2011 Part 1

First time Sadie clapped was when Nixon was kicking the ball in the backyard, how perfect!! 

First Time at the CDA Beach

We went up to CDA beach with some friends and Nixon did great, he is afraid of the water still but got up to his waist all by himself.

Nixon loves to play cars still and I find him lining them up to race.

Sadie enjoys playing in the dishwasher just like her brother did. She thinks she is so cute when she takes everything out too:)

Beach Trip #2

We went up with a good friend of mine to her cabin and had a fun day at the lake. The three boys were so cute and got along great. Nixon got more and more use to the water and even swam out with me to the dock.
